Children’s activities: Balloons, tile painting, dish gardens, wind socks, face painting, sand art, daylily coloring, popsicle stick flowers, and much more.
Inside the tent we will hold a Mini Health Fair for parents and children with the theme: “A Visit To The Hospital”

Our surgical team will offer the children’s tour of the surgical unit information to the Children at the festival.

Beads and Seeds for Healthy Growing – the children will be making a bookmark with beads the color of the food pyramid and we’re going to have them plant a see
Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness
The fitness team will be on hand to demonstrate to the kids under the tent fitness activities to keep them active and healthy. They will learn about exercise and how it keeps your heart healthy. Children will be able to listen to their heartbeats before and after a little movement.
Augusta Health Dietitians
The Dietitians will be on hand to demonstrated healthy eating and the foods which give energy as well as heart health. The children will be making a menu with food stickers on a placemat they can use at home.

Red Cross Safety Instructor and offers children’s swim
lessons at Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness. Rebecca will
go over children’s safety in and around water.
